Description: |
The Credit Analyst is responsible for analyzing a loan applicant’s credit history and approving or denying the loan application based on the analysis. This person will review the loan application package and make recommendations to front-line staff in regards to cross-sell possibilities. They will establish relationships and maintain good rapport with front-line lending staff and indirect dealers.

Duties: |
Ensures lending operations are conducted in accordance with HCU policies and are legally in compliance.
Works closely with front-line staff to evaluate and verify loan criteria and approve loan applications.
Calculates terms, finance charges, and insurance on loans for proper disclosure on promissory notes.
Maintains advanced knowledge of HCU products and services.
Pro-actively supports and advances HCU’s brand platform.

Qualifications: |
Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, business or related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum two years of previous indirect or mortgage lending experience or experience with full-service financial institution preferred.
Knowledge of consumer and residential lending practices required.
This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. |
