| The primary role of a nurse at Lakeview Village is to promoting the residents’ well-being and satisfaction by supporting resident-centered care. |
Duties: |
| Nurses are responsible for maintaining a safe, comfortable and functional environment by assessing the household for potential hazards, implementing practices utilizing appropriate techniques regarding sanitation, infection control, fire safety, disaster preparedness and emergency care. They will mentor and lead clinical employees in their area, carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the facility’s policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Nurses will observe residents status as necessary to assure quality care. They will also coordinate with resident services to assure continuity of care. Nurses will also directly supervise the CMA’s, and C.N.A.’s in their neighborhood. |
Qualifications: |
Must have a valid Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse licensure according to state of Kansas
IV certification preferred for all LPN’s
Attend Advance Education Certificate Programs for LTC (GERTI) within 1 year of hire (course will be offered at Lakeview Village)
CPR certified required
