| The homemaker performs the combined duties of housekeeping, laundry and life enhancement. The homemaker will perform housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and neatness of neighborhood surroundings; assist with caring for linens and residents’ clothing, including washing, sorting, ironing and folding; and assist with the neighborhood’s plan to carry out personal interest and social activities for residents. |
Duties: |
Maintains clean spaces in the neighborhood, including resident rooms, neighborhood common spaces, as well as support spaces and equipment. Takes temperatures of foods and equipment and maintains proper documentation for regulatory compliance. Coordinates work with the neighborhood caregivers to ensure the housekeeping needs of the neighborhood are met within the staffing resources of the neighborhood

Qualifications: |
At least 6 months experience in long-term care setting in housekeeping, activity, laundry or dietary departments is preferred.
Must be willing and able to work weekends.
Certified Nursing Aide Certification Preferred.
